The Lady Eagles played in the Greenwood High Lady Gator Invitational at Bowling Green Country Club on Tuesday. Only Nicole Taylor had seen the state tournament course before Tuesday. The competition was good with many of the top teams in the state playing to start their season. The Lady Eagles tied for 7th place out of 14 teams with Nicole Taylor and Laney Shoulta finishing in a tie for 22nd. Marshall County won the tournament with a 309 followed by Lexington Christian 312, Sacred Heart 318, McCracken County 334, Greenwood 353, Davies County 353, and Graves County 357. The team was led by Nicole Taylor and Laney Shoulta 85, Ellie West 89, Neely Shoulta 98, and Sarah Lyell 99.
