Highlights The Eagles travelled to Ballard Memorial on Tuesday.  Graves County boys won all of their matches. Brady Ellegood played number 1 seed for the Eagles and played the most competitive match in the boy’s lineup, 8-5.  All of the other singles matches were 8-0 or 8-1 as Alejandro Hernando, Matthew Whitaker, Ethan Murphy, and Mark Whitaker recorded wins.  Brady Ellegood-Matthew Whitaker and Grant Jackson-Drew Jackson won their doubles matches with a 8-1 and 8-0 decisions. The Eagles won the match 9-0.

 Highlights Laken Schultz and Sydney Gream played the most competitive Lady Eagle matches of the day with the different outcomes.  Schultz traded advantages with her Ballard Memorial opponent. Neither player could gain more than a two game advantage. Then, with the score tied at 7-7, Schultz won the last two games and the match, 9-7. Gream and her opponent played even for 16 games with neither person gaining an advantage until the tiebreaker. Raychel Mathis won her first high school singles match with a 8-2 decision.  Ellie Mitchell and Payton Gilpin won with 8-0 and 8-3 decisions.  In doubles play, Maddy Williams-Allie Clark fell behind early 3-4 before winning the final games and the match, 8-4.   The Lady Eagles won with a 7-2 decision. Both teams will be in action on Friday as they host Mayfield.
